The following pictures are from my Fall, 2006 trip to Jasper-Pulaski Fish and Wildlife Area. Jasper-Pulaski FWA is the main staging area for the fall migration of sandhill cranes. Sandhill cranes are one of my favorite birds to photograph. Having the opportunity to photograph them in such great numbers and to hear their pre-historic sounds is a thrilling experience.
