My love for the outdoors stems from my childhood days spent on my fathers farmland in Franklin, Wisconsin. I shared many of happy hours with my brothers hunting and exploring the many surrounding acres. Though I still love exploring, the only shooting I do now is with a camera.

My first camera was an old Kodak Polaroid, expensive to use, but I loved the instant gratification of seeing your pictures in minutes. As much as things change, they are still the same. Now with my digital cameras, instant gratification is still there, but with far more control.

One of my favorite places to shoot pictures is in and around the Horicon Marsh area. Horicon Marsh is a 32,000 acre freshwater cattail mash. If you live in Wisconsin and have never been there, it's a great place to visit.
